Patmos

Patmos is the small Greek island in the Aegean Sea to where the Apostle John had been exiled towards the end of his life. John wrote the final book of the New Testament, called the book of Revelation, while living in Patmos. The island is about 13 square miles (about 35 square kilometers) in size. It has a population of about 3,000 people.
