Seleucia
Seluecia was the name of an ancient port town on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The ruins of ancient Seleucia today fall within the modern boundaries of Turkey. Seleucia is mentioned in Acts 13:4. The evangelists Paul and Barnabas sailed from Seluecia to Salamis in Cyprus, during Paul's first mission journey. There was more than one place with the name of Seleucia. This Mediterranean port town also is known as Seleucia Pieria.
